A unique and organic product

Newton Court is an organic farm located between Hereford and Leominster –not far from the Cadbury Factory.

Paul has been making cider on the farm for the last fifteen years and the new crop of ciders and perries see a distinct move away from the more traditional and typical ciders made in the county.

Apple Cider

The First Press Apple Cider is the best example of this shift with its light, clean taste and pale colour. The colour is achieved by pressing dessert apples and taking the juice away from the peel and pulp before it has had a chance to oxidise. This means it has less of the tannic, and perhaps, harsher taste that is associated with an artisan cider. First Press is handpicked from Richard Walls farm in Breinton, Herefordshire, England.

First Press is great served cold and works very well with food – cheese particularly –but it is also a wonderfully crisp and refreshing drink on a hot summer’s day.

GNCC 4_Gasping goose 2asping Goose is an organic cider made only from apples picked from the orchards at Newton Court- a certified organic farm. Gasping Goose is a complex medium cider with a slightly tannic finish. Pair it with a pork belly or with a chicken pie – it’s a refreshing proper cider that loves hearty real food.
